“Get the Word Out & Spread Good News!”

“Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth laborers into his harvest.”

(St. Matthew 9:38)

Grace and peace as we give honor to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! The Lord is yet doing great things in our midst. What an awesome time we had for “Worship On Washington!” Words cannot express the experience we had but we know God used us and I’m certain we had a spiritual impact for the Kingdom of God! We have witnessed the awesome hand of the Lord and recognize the advance of God’s favor on the house!

We cannot keep enjoying all the wonderful blessings of God and not share it with others. The Lord commissioned us to “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” That’s why we followed the leading of the Spirit and went on our recent excursion to the Nation’s capital. And you’ll be hearing soon about the next Sunday we’ll be taking “Bethel Outside the Walls!”

There is so much negativity and gloom in the news today.  Just consider all that has hit the news recently with the killings here in the KC Metro area, the divisiveness and mud-slinging of the presidential race, the weather catastrophes, as well as the international tensions with terrorism and the refugee issue. Wait! Doesn’t someone have any good news to share? WE DO!!! God has been good to us and we’ve got to tell it!!! The harvest truly is plenteous and the Lord is using us as his laborers to reap the harvest of souls!!

So much is happening here at Bethel! God has just overshadowed us with His favor. Just consider the “power-packed” services with the many souls coming to Christ and all that we’re doing in the community with feeding of the homeless, the establishment of the NBC Pantry, the upcoming fall ministry events and so much more!!

Not only must you be involved personally, but “Get the Word Out & Spread Good News!” The scripture reveals, “And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation.” (2 Corin. 5:18) We’ve all been given the ministry of reconciliation, which is to bring others to Christ and make them at peace with God! The most effective means of spreading the Gospel is by YOU telling someone what God has done for you! Be committed to win at least one person to Christ before 2016 ends. Get the Word out and spread “good news!” Get busy, GOD NEEDS YOU! That’s why Jesus declared in the scripture, “Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” (Matthew 9:38)

Be blessed and don’t forget, God said this is “The Year of Performance!”
