Relationships

“Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.” 1Peter 4:8 ESV

Whether you’re starting out a new relationship , simply love your friends, adore your family or have been married for years, there’s always a way to incorporate God into each of the unique relationships in one’s life. The people you choose to spend your time with have an enormous impact on your identity, values, goals, and growth.

From the first book of the Old Testament, Genesis, God tells the story of Adam and Eve. He created woman from man, so the two could live in a loving partnership forever. As humans, we were meant to share our lives with one another, and there are tons of Bible verses about relationships to prove just that.

If you ever struggle with clarity during a spout with your friend or want to know the true meaning of love in a marriage, the word of God is here to guide us. The Lord places love and loving relationships in the highest regard. God himself demonstrates the same love with his relationship with his son Jesus.

Never forget that your relationship with God is the most important, and He will reward you with a life partner that shares the same values.

Romans 12: 1-2 ESV

“I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
