“The Day of Blessing!”
There is a generation that curseth their father,
and doth not bless their mother.”
(Proverbs 30:11)

Today has been set aside to honor and bless our mothers! All of us are here as a result of a mother and for that we are eternally grateful.
In such a time as this when so many individuals’ hearts are harden and only are concerned about “me” and “self,” the Lord reminded us to always take care of your mother. Prior to giving up the ghost, the spirit of life, Jesus while on the cross was concerned about his mother. Who would take care of his mother when he was no longer in his human realm? So on the cross at the point of agony & pain, he made sure his mother was going to be taken care. The scripture records, “When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple he loved, he saith unto his mother, ‘Woman, behold thy son!’ Then saith he to the disciple, ‘Behold thy mother!’ And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.” (St. John 19:26-27) Shortly after that, Jesus fulfilled his role as our eternal sacrifice.
We pause to bless our mothers! For some of us, our mothers have passed, but we can share with the good memories and remember how they were there for us. For others, you still have your mothers in the land of living — take time and bless God for them, and let them know how much you appreciate them.
So today, “The Day of Blessing,” give God thanks for your mother (& Godmothers) who was the instrument God used to birth you into your purpose & destiny! Angela and I bless all the mothers of New Bethel!
So Blessed by You… Mom
A mother who always cares,
A mother who’s always there.
A mother who always prays,
A mother who always stays.
When things get rough,
When life gets tough,
When all is just too much to bear,
God’s Word she shares.
God’s light she shines.
So blessed God made this mother mine.
