We invite you to our annual Celebrate Life & Good Health Thanksgiving Food Distribution at the New Bethel Church – 745 Walker Avenue, Kansas City, KS 66101. This year’s drive-up event will be held on Saturday, November 18th from 12PM – 2PM. As long as your vehicle is in line by 2PM, you will be served. Walk-up guests will be served from 3-4PM

VOLUNTEER OPTIONS … WE NEED YOUR HELP!

It is a blessing to be able to give. If you feel the same, we invite you to be a volunteer. We are looking for volunteers of ALL ages to assist as we prepare for our Annual Celebrate Life & Good Health Thanksgiving Giveaway. We would love it if you’d consider being a volunteer. Select a volunteer date from the options provided below and email jessica.bentley-johnson@newbethelkc.org to confirm the date(s) you will be present. If you can’t stay the entire time slot, that’s no problem. Create a schedule that works for you!

• Wednesday, November 8th – 10 AM – 3 PM
• Wednesday, November 15th – 10 AM – 3 PM
• Saturday, November 18th ( Day of Event) – 8 AM – 4 PM

EVENT DETAILS

Enter the New Bethel church parking lot at 8th Street & New Jersey Avenue. A volunteer will place pre-packed Thanksgiving Grocery Bags in each vehicle along with Household & Hygiene supplies from Urban Community Connections. A FREE Turkey, Ham or Chicken will be offered per family while supplies last. There are no requirements to receive food outside of a valid State ID. Urban Community Connections will distribute household cleaning & hygiene supplies.
