NBC CDC is excited to host our annual Family 101 5K and Block Party as part of the New Bethel Church’s 75th Anniversary Celebration week on Saturday, June 24th!
The COVID-19 pandemic impacted thousands of families in the Kansas City metro area, and we have all been working toward a new ‘normal’. Our focus on restoring family health and wellbeing encompasses physical and mental health, social health, financial health, and spiritual health. We are planning a day of family rejuvenation and community connections to foster holistic health and wellbeing for our families and our community.
The 5K Walk/Run/Bike event is FREE yet registration is required. Registration & Check-in will begin at 8:00 am. The block party is scheduled from 10am to 2pm. We are offering free lunch, games, and a health fair with services and resources for physical, mental, financial, and family health.

Cost: $50 (This fee is included with all Sponsors. 6ft table & 2 chairs provided)
CLASSIC & SPORTS CAR SHOW
$10 cash fee will be collected upon arrival for all participating vehicles. Please complete the application at the link below to participate. By submitting this application, I understand that the NBCCDC, New Bethel Church and sponsors will not be held responsible for any liability that I might incur during this show and any car registered will carry personal liability and property damage insurance.

We’re looking for energetic individuals and organizations to provide great customer service to our Family 101 participants. Volunteers could be assigned to work in various areas. If you need volunteer hours for your organization, school, etc. – let us help you out! The Family 101 event is a great option for you.
