Wyandotte Countians are asking, “Where is the community of faith right now? Does God have anything to say about what is happening in KCK/Wyandotte County and in our nation?” Our answer is yes… there is strength in numbers!

Please join me with other faith leaders in Kansas City, KS on Friday, July 10th,  from 4PM – 6PM as we line the streets of Parallel Parkway to the Legends in a “Faith for Fairness Protest!”

While still observing safe distancing, I am asking you to join me and other faith-based leaders on Friday, July 10th, as we stand at a predetermined location on Parallel Parkway. The goal is to have people of faith from all walks of life in this community to stand united on Parallel Parkway from 18th St all the way to the Legends. It is the steering committee’s desire for the entire city of Kansas City, KS & Wyandotte County to see our Faith Community standing in solidarity with signage… with prayer… and silent protest… against racism & injustice! All churches and individuals are invited to participate! We will be preparing posters and signs with selected phrases to convey a consistent message of unity while also stressing the need for voter registration. Protest is needed, but voting is more important!

To the members and all who follow us at New Bethel, won’t you join me for this momentous event?

-Pastor A. Glenn Brady

*Shuttle service will be provided for all New Bethel Church participants. You may park at the New Bethel Church and we will provide transportation to the designated areas on Parallel.
