A Healthy & Safe way to Celebrate Thanksgiving during a pandemic begins at The New Bethel Church KCK with FREE Household Groceries, Turkeys, Cleaning Supplies, COVID-19 Tests & Flu Shots… All on Saturday, November 21st from 12PM-2PM!

Due to the rise in positive COVID cases across the metro and throughout the country, Pastor Brady has been consistent with our local health officials to encourage household gatherings for the holidays instead of large family dinners. We also understand that many have been financially impacted due to the pandemic and putting food on the table has been far more difficult for families this year. For these reasons, we want to make sure everyone in our community and within the congregation has everything needed for a hearty Thanksgiving meal and direct access to Covid-19 testing and flu shots.

The NBC Community Development Corporation, The New Bethel Church and other community organizations have teamed up once again to host our annual Thanksgiving Outreach, “Celebrate LIFE & Good HEALTH” and Turkey Giveaway… Drive-Thru Style! The event will be held on Saturday, November 21st from 12PM – 2PM at The New Bethel Church (745 Walker Avenue, Kansas City, KS 66101 and we anticipate hundreds of families to participate this year! Although this year’s event will be different than those in the past, we will still put a great emphasis on health, safety and good nutrition! There will be 2 parts to this year’s community event and everything is Drive-thru for the safety and health of all volunteers and participants.

PART 1: Thanksgiving Food Pantry Distribution – There will be a one-way entrance and a volunteer will place pre-packed Thanksgiving groceries in the vehicles.
